I have been actively counseling AODA clients since 1985. My approach is individual-focused with an emphasis on positive empowerment through feelings identification and corrective thinking. I am respectful of everyone, but hold each person accountable for his or her own actions. As a former teacher, I enjoy educating clients and challenging them to grow. I bring unique experience to this role, including training as a corrective thinking specialist through The Thought Institute and close work with the Division of Community Corrections.
