Gifts of Cash
Cash gifts make an immediate impact on patient programs, community education, and special initiatives. Gifts may be made in memory or in honor of a friend or loved one. A gift of cash is the simplest, most direct, and most popular way to support the Appleton Medical Center Foundation. The amount of your gift may be deducted from taxable income to the full extent allowed by law.
If you wish to make a gift of cash, please fill out a donation form. Make checks payable to the Appleton Medical Center Foundation.
Mail your donation and form to:
Appleton Medical Center Foundation

Some of the most meaningful gifts we receive are those given in memory or honor of a loved one.
When a loved one passes away, Appleton Medical Center Foundation would like to help you honor and celebrate their life. Please tell us whom you wish to remember, and the name and address of the person we should notify of your gift.
You may wish to honor friends or loved ones by making a gift to Appleton Medical Center Foundation in their name, or on the occasion of a special event, such as a birthday or anniversary, wedding or retirement gift. It’s the perfect way to support the Hospital and pay tribute to someone special in your life. Be sure to tell us who you are honoring, and provide that person’s name and address so we can notify them of your gift in their honor. All tribute gifts will be acknowledged with a certificate to the person you designate. We will not share the amount of your gift, just the news of your thoughtfulness. Make a tribute gift now by completing the donation form. Please make your check payable to the Appleton Medical Center Foundation.

Appreciated Stocks or Bonds
You can make a direct gift to the Foundation – and gain significant tax advantages – with a gift of appreciated stocks and/or bonds through your broker, banker, or other financial consultant.
Appreciated Real Estate
You may receive the full fair-market-value charitable deduction by donating appreciated real estate such as vacation homes, farms, second homes, inherited and/or unneeded property, acreage, even commercial or residential lots. For more information, call or e-mail the Foundation at (920) 738-6503 or AMCFoundation@thedacare.org.
Many organizations will match their employees and retirees gift to encourage philanthropic support. The Appleton Medical Center Foundation is an eligible non-profit organization that meets the guidelines of most matching gift programs. Please check with your company to see if they will match your charitable gift to Appleton Medical Center Foundation.
Endowed Named Funds
With a gift of $10,000 or more, donors may establish endowed named funds to be administered to support a particular Hospital program or initiative payable over three-to-five years. Endowed funds help ensure that important Hospital programs will be sustained in perpetuity. For more information, call or e-mail the Foundation at (920) 738-6503 or AMCFoundation@thedacare.org.
We encourage our supporters to involve their family, friends, co-workers, employers and employees in raising funds for the Appleton Medical Center Foundation. These can be considered “Third Party Events” which are hosted by individuals and/or organization external to Appleton Medical Center Foundation. There are many options when joining together as a team to raise money for the Foundation. We’ve listed some of the most popular ones below:
- Organize your own sporting tournament – golf outing, tennis match, bowling tournament, etc. – with proceeds being directed to the Foundation.
- Host a bake or craft sale with proceeds directed towards the Appleton Medical Center Foundation.
- Rather than exchanging gifts at the holidays, funds can be collected and donated to Appleton Medical Center Foundation.
- Ask your employer if employees can “pay” to wear jeans to the office or host “penny wars” between departments with funds collected designated to support the Foundation.
To inquire about hosting your own event, please contact Cindy Stuedemann, Development Assistant, at (920) 738-6478 or by email at email@example.com.
