Ways to Give

Since it was established in 1997, Theda Clark Medical Center Foundation has donated more than $12 million to help provide patients with the most state-of-the-art equipment, technology, and care at Theda Clark Medical Center. The generosity of our donors has made the following programs, tools, and services possible, in addition to many others.

Our first fundraising campaign, Protecting the Golden Hour, raised funds to purchase a new medical helicopter for the hospital. ThedaStar is a vital tool in providing patients throughout Wisconsin with rapid access to emergency or trauma care.

P.A.R.T.Y @ the P.A.C.

The annual P.A.R.T.Y (Preventing Alcohol and Risk-Related Trauma in Youth) program focuses on teaching high school freshman about the consequences of making poor choices. This popular program is held at the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center and hosts more than 4,000 students from area schools each year.

Improvements in Breast Cancer Care

Theda Clark Breast Center is always making ongoing advancements in cancer care. Our funding has allowed for the purchase of two state-of-the-art digital mammography units, a Mammotome® Biopsy System, and VibrantÒ software that makes it possible to do MRI scans of both breasts at the same time. This equipment improves the accuracy and efficiency of our breast cancer treatment.

Fox Valley Child Advocacy Center

Developed through a foundation grant and the collaboration of local social service organizations, law enforcement, and healthcare professionals, the center offers young victims of abuse a safe, non-threatening, and nurturing environment. It also appropriately documents any incidents, which may assist in criminal investigations.

Bar Coding Technology

The introduction of Misys Laboratory-Collection Manager software, which includes a wireless personal digital assistant (PDA) that scans the bar code on a patient’s identification wristband, ensures that no mistakes are made when collecting patient specimens.

Thanks to some very generous donors, our foundation awards three scholarships annually to local high school, undergraduate, and graduate students that encourage them to consider careers in healthcare.
