Ways to Give
As a non-profit hospital, New London Family Medical Center relies heavily on the generosity of the community it cares for. Since it was established in 2003, the Wolf River Area Healthcare Foundation has donated more than $2.2 million to help provide patients with the most state-of-the-art equipment, technology, and care at New London Family Medical Center.
The generosity of our donors has made the following programs, tools, and services possible, in addition to many others.
The Family Birth Center
The center features three labor, delivery, and recovery and postpartum (LDRP) rooms with numerous amenities for the entire family. A fourth postpartum room features a queen-size bed for mothers who deliver via cesarean. All patient rooms feature private, relaxing whirlpool spa bathtubs, sleeping accommodations for a spouse or partner, and convenient kitchenettes.
More than $100,000 in grants helped purchase specialized equipment for the new Surgery Center. A pediatric colonoscope supports the care of younger patients, while a state-of-the-art video tower allows doctors to see a larger, high-quality image of non-invasive patient procedures.
Clintonville Physical Therapy Room
Patients in Clintonville and nearby communities enjoy facilities dedicated to providing physical therapy treatment and rehabilitation services.
New London Family Medical Center Ambulance
Designed and rigged to best suit the needs of our rural communities, the ambulance also features the medical equipment necessary for stabilization and emergency treatment in the field.
With the help of more than $250,000 in gifts from the community, the suite provides a treatment space that specifically meets the needs of cancer patients and their families. Amenities include fully reclining chairs, individual TVs, privacy curtains, an easily accessible nurses’ station, and space for loved ones to sit with patients while they receive treatment.
Cancer Learning Center
This community resource center provides access to information, support groups, and counseling services, along with a cancer library and internet access to cancer research websites.
Grant awards have provided six area volunteer First Responder units with funds for emergency communication equipment. Funds have also helped provide emergency room patients who arrived in torn or soiled clothing with new clothes for their return home.
Contributions support ongoing educational opportunities for nursing and medical staff, allowing them to pursue advanced certifications to better serve patient needs.
All donations made to Wolf River Area Healthcare Foundation are used solely for advancing healthcare at New London Family Medical Center.
Funded by the doctors at New London Family Medical Center, our foundation awards the Medical Staff Scholarship each year to graduating high-school seniors who plan to pursue an education in a healthcare-related field.
Scholarship amounts change from year to year. Students from the following communities are eligible to apply: Clintonville, Hortonville, Little Wolf (Manawa), Marin, New London, Shiocton, and Weyauwega-Fremont. Additional information and application forms can be obtained from the area school’s guidance counselor.
Planned giving is a process that recognizes your gift today, but brings it to live sometime in the future.
