The right atmosphere can help you feel a lot better, a lot faster. Whether you’re joining us to welcome a new baby or get a new knee… Appleton Medical Center provides you with a warm, comfortable setting designed around your care needs.

Every patient has a private room with plenty of space for their loved ones to spend time with them. There are also family areas where visitors can relax, watch television or use one of the hospital’s computers. We have Wi-Fi access throughout the hospital.

Visiting Hours and Policies

Your visitors play a big part in your recovery, and they are welcome at Appleton Medical Center. Hours are 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Talk to your care team if you have special needs. For the health and safety of all our patients, please consider visiting another time if you have a cold, flu or sore throat. If you must visit, ask for a mask to wear while you’re in the hospital. Some other things to keep in mind:

  • Appleton Medical Center is smoke-free.
  • Due to latex allergies, only Mylar balloons are permitted in patient areas.
  • Cell phones may interfere with patient equipment and rest. Please don’t use cell phones in the hospital.

Cafeteria

No "hospital food" here! Under the guidance of an executive chef, our staff expertly prepares fresh, nourishing entrees that will satisfy everyone’s taste buds. The cafeteria is located on the first floor near the west entrance. Open 6:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. on weekdays, and 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. on weekends and holidays. View our menu of delicious breakfast, lunch and dinner entrees. 

Café Soleil

Looking for a quick cup of coffee or a snack? Café Soleil is located on the first floor new the east entrance. Open weekdays 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Gift Shop

From flowers to baby items to home décor, our gift shop has just the thing to brighten someone’s day. The gift shop is located on the first floor near the west entrance. Open weekdays 9 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. and Saturday 12 to 3 p.m. Would you like to place an order over the phone for delivery to one of our patients? Just call (920) 380-1544.

Guest House

If you’re from outside the area and need a convenient, inexpensive place to stay while we care for your critically ill loved one, the Appleton Medical Center Foundation Guest House is a good option. Call (920) 731-4101 ext. 2051 for more information.

Chapel and Pastoral Care

We offer you a quiet place for reflection and meditation and a professional staff to support you or complement your own clergy. Your care team can put you in touch with Pastoral Care during your stay. The chapel is located on the first floor near the west entrance, just past the cafeteria.
