Shawano Construction

By Jeff Maciejewski, Project Engineer, Boldt

Over the past couple of months, the main work focus for the new ThedaCare-Medical Center- Shawano has been on steel erection and the build out of the central utility plant.  With the majority of steel erection now complete and the central utility plant scheduled to be finished by the end of June, the focus has shifted to the building enclosure and remodel work within the existing clinic.

Exterior wall framing, roofing, and pouring the concrete on second floor are all tasks that need to be complete before the building is considered enclosed.  The exterior wall framing has already begun; roofing and concrete work will begin in May and continue through June.

Along with the new addition, about half of the existing clinic is getting remodeled. That remodel work will be done in phases, with Phase 1 scheduled to begin in May.
