Complete Health Improvement Program Helps to Lead a Healthier Life

Program Focuses on Reversing and Preventing Effects of Diabetes, Obesity, Hypertension and High Cholesterol 

Complete Health Improvement Program (CHIP) is designed to prevent and reverse the effects of diabetes, obesity, hypertension and high cholesterol. This ThedaCare program includes a before and after lifestyle evaluation for total cholesterol, LDL, HDL, triglycerides, fasting blood sugar, blood pressure and weight, a textbook, workbook and food samples. People will receive information on how to complete their heart screen. A grocery store tour is available for an additional fee.

People can participate in CHIP, a series of 18, 1.5-hour classes in a combination lecture and workshop format that begins on Mon., March 31, through Thurs., May 22, from 6:30- 8 p.m. at Theda Clark Medical Center. Week 1 has four sessions and weeks 2-8 have two sessions each week. Class fee is refundable up to 50% if participant cancels enrollment the first week of class. If enrollment is canceled after the first week of class, payment is non-refundable.

Class fee is $450. However, if spouse/domestic partner register together and share materials, the cost is $450 for the first person and $250 for the second. Call (920) 851-9488 for alumni pricing.
