Dental Health Focus of Diabetes Meeting

Free Support Gathering on Sept. 6 at Shawano Medical Center

The importance of good dental health in preventing diabetes-related complications will be in the spotlight at the free Diabetes Support Group at 9 a.m., Thurs., Sept. 6 in the Pine Room at Shawano Medical Center.

Dr. John DeWolf of Family Dentistry will discuss the relationship between diabetes and dental health, including that diabetics have a higher probability of developing gum disease.
