Doctor to discuss pap smears, HPV vaccinations, birth control options and more
Are you prepared to have “the talk” with your teenage daughter? Mothers of teenage girls may find a new presentation may be helpful. Dr. Maria Vandenberg, an OB/GYN at Women’s Care of Wisconsin, will speak about new guidelines for pap smears, HPV vaccinations, birth control options and more. This is a hard time for both mother and daughter; being better educated on these topics may help make this transition period a little easier.
The free, 60-minute program begins at 6:30 p.m. on Tues., Nov. 5, in the Maplewood Room at Appleton Medical Center.
