$16,000 Gift Supports New London-Area Students Pursuing Healthcare Careers
Eight seniors who will be continuing their education in the healthcare field from Clintonville, Hortonville, Manawa, Marion, New London (2), Shiocton, and Weyauwega-Fremont High Schools have the opportunity to receive $2,000 scholarships, thanks to the Medical Staff at New London Family Medical Center and ThedaCare Physicians-New London.
“Our Medical Staff continues to support the healthcare aspirations of local students,” said Paul Hoell, MD, medical staff president. “Their education in healthcare will be of great benefit to the community in the future.”
The eight awards will be granted through the Wolf River Area Healthcare Foundation, who will recognize seniors planning to pursue healthcare careers. Applications are available in the guidance offices of their respective high schools. Deadlines for the applications will vary by school.
