Seminar to Celebrate Women's Heart Health

Free, Inaugural Event is March 1 in Appleton

Appleton Cardiology will kick-off its inaugural Women’s Heart Health seminar in March to continue the momentum generated by Go Red for Women Day and American Heart Month activities held in the community during February.

The free event will celebrate women who are fighting heart disease head-on and the progress that has been made in education and prevention. Carrie Chapman, MD, with Appleton Cardiology, will lead the high-energy program and discuss the most common risk factors women face, as well as smart strategies for good heart health.

The free, 90-minute event begins at 7:30 a.m. on Fri., March 1, in the Ironwood Room at Appleton Medical Center. A continental breakfast is included.
