Dr. Robert Wilson to See Patients at Berlin Clinic

Appleton Cardiology Physician Practicing at CHN Hospital Campus

Appleton Cardiology, part of ThedaCare, along with Appleton Heart Institute, announces that Robert L. Wilson, MD, is now seeing patients at CHN Medical Center – Berlin hospital campus on Fridays.

Dr. Wilson joined Appleton Cardiology in 1985 and was the first physician in the region to successfully implant a biventricular pacemaker. In addition to pacemaker insertion and follow-up pacing, Dr. Wilson’s specialty areas include echocardiography, coronary heart disease and treatment of rhythm abnormalities, valve problems and heart failure.

He received his undergraduate degree from Iowa State University and earned his medical degree from the University of Iowa College of Medicine. Dr. Wilson completed his internship, residency and fellowship training through the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics and holds several cardiovascular-related certifications. He also serves as the Director of Echocardiography Laboratories for Appleton Cardiology, Appleton Medical Center and Theda Clark Medical Center.  

Dr. Wilson is proud to be part of such a talented group of providers. Outside of work, he can be found golfing, rowing or tinkering in the garage.

In 2011, Appleton Cardiology joined ThedaCare, and is comprised of 17 physicians specializing in the treatment of cardiovascular disease.  The Appleton Heart Institute was the first and most advanced cardiac care program to be established north of Madison and Milwaukee more than 30 years ago.
