The Empower Me!! Summer Camp is a state-licensed day camp offering separate groups for children diagnosed with ADHD and for high functioning autism/Asperger’s Disorder. The Empower Me!! Summer Camp offers the opportunity to participate in a camp atmosphere who may not ordinarily be able to take part. The Empower Me!! Summer Camp also offers your child the opportunity to begin developing skills that can assist them in improving their interactions with other children. In this safe and supportive environment, your child will participate in a number of activities designed to be fun and educational in nature!
The Empower Me!! Summer Camp staff are individuals with backgrounds in working with children with special needs. The lead staff consist of educators, mental health therapists, occupational therapist, and a board certified music therapist. The Camp Counselors consist of undergraduate students currently working toward degrees in teaching, psychology, social work, counseling and related fields. We pride ourselves in having individuals who are passionate about working with children!

- Ropes Course
- CHAPS, an equine-based experience
- Social Skills Training
- Yoga
- Karate
- Music Therapy
- Art Activities
All of the activities give your child the opportunity to learn while they are having fun!

Grades K-2
- Autism: 7/12/2010 – 7/16/2010
- ADHD: 7/12/2010 – 7/16/2010
Grades 3-5
- ADHD: 7/19/2010 – 7/23/2010
- Autism: 7/19/2010 – 7/30/2010 (NEW FOR 2010! 2-WEEK CAMP)
Grades 6-8
- Middle School Camp for children with high function autism: 7/26/2010 – 7/30/2010 (NEW FOR 2010!)
