Whether you come to us directly or are referred to us by your primary care physician, we’ll get you in fast. We know that when you have bone, muscle or joint pain, the last thing you want to do is wait. At ThedaCare Orthopedics Plus, you’ll have quick access to one of our experienced providers. You’ll receive a diagnosis and treatment plan on your first visit.
Plus, we’ll work with your primary care physician throughout your treatment. This ensures efficient, coordinated services with all of your care providers.

Our new facility at Appleton Medical Center provides orthopedic physicians plus all the other services you need:

Care provided by the right provider at the right time
Our triage physicians focus on providing a quick, accurate diagnosis. They will provide a treatment plan with recommendations for the correct provider to fit your needs. Most bone, muscle and joint problems can be addressed with therapy, medication, rest or a combination of these treatment options. Since the vast majority of orthopedic problems can be treated nonsurgically, you’ll only see a surgeon if surgery is necessary.
However, if surgery is necessary, our surgery centers—Groth Surgery Center at Appleton Medical Center and Aylward Surgery Center at Theda Clark Medical Center - are recognized for their outstanding quality and efficiency. Be sure to let your physician know which of our facilities you prefer for your surgery.
Our team approach to care ensures everyone knows your care plan and works together for your success
We know that the best care is provided in a “team” setting. That’s why we’ll work closely with you, your primary care physician and your team of ThedaCare Orthopedics Plus professionals to help you meet your goals and provide the best results possible for your circumstance. Your ThedaCare Orthopedics Plus team may include a sports medicine physician, rehab medicine physician, physical therapist, occupational therapist, licensed athletic trainer and orthopedic surgeon. We’ll concentrate on getting your physical mobility back and provide information and training on how to prevent future injuries.
Also, if your physician has access to ThedaCare’s electronic medical record system, they will receive instant updates on your diagnosis, treatment and progress.
