Our History
Built in 1985, the Heritage was the pioneer in senior living communities in the Fox Valley. It took five years of research by combining the best ideas and designs to create a stimulating living environment for seniors. ThedaCare affiliated with the Heritage in early nineties, obtaining complete ownership more than five years ago.
Our Community
The Heritage, a ThedaCare™ residential living community, has 137 elegant one and two bedroom apartments that provide all the convenience of your home without the responsibility of home upkeep. We take care of the maintenance and provide services that leave residents free to enjoy the activities they enjoy most.
Your personal touch turns your new apartment into your home. There are four unique styles of apartments from which to choose. Residents furnish their apartment with their own personal belongings and make their own decorating choices.
We also provide the added security of a 24 hour emergency response system, smoke detector, sprinkler system, and building security.
Outside your apartment doors, The Heritage is a community unto itself. It is comprised of people who posses a wealth of knowledge and experience, creating a stimulating environment. Residents can always look for something new and interesting to look forward to each day. The environment allows residents to value new ideas, independence, and personal growth.

Social Opportunities
This residential facility offers a wide range of social opportunities for vibrant seniors 62 and older looking to live life to its fullest. We design our social opportunities around our residents' interest, hobbies and talents. Just to name a few, some of our social opportunities include the following:

- Monthly birthday parties
- Attending plays, concerts, athletic events & speakers
Affordability
Residents pay a residency fee (which is 90 percent refundable), a monthly service charge, and their personal utilities.
