4/7/05 Wisconsin Collaborative for Healthcare Quality: Launches 2005 Performance & Progress Report, WisBusiness.com
In March 2003, ThedaCare was one of 8 health systems that partnered with business and consumer groups to form the Wisconsin Collaborative for Healthcare Quality. Since that time, the Collaborative has published two Performance and Progress Reports that provide independent, 3rd-party verifiable data about the quality and cost of care from each of the participating providers.
Today, the Collaborative consists of 21 health systems and provider groups that care for more than 2 million people in Wisconsin. The Collaborative will continue to publish these reports, providing more and more information, as a means to give employers and consumers accurate comparisons of outcomes and to bring about continued improvements in quality.
To review the latest Performance and Progress Report, please click on www.wchq.org. The data is updated at least once each quarter, and new measures of quality and cost are continually being added.
