What is this medicine used for?

This medicine is taken by mouth to get rid of excess gas in the stomach and intestines.

How do I take it?

Take this medicine as directed by your health care provider, or according to the instructions in the medicine package. For the best results, take it after meals and at bedtime.

This medicine may come in tablets, capsules, and liquid. Chew the tablets thoroughly for fast action. Do not chew the capsules. Swallow them whole.

Avoid drinking soft drinks or eating foods that increase gas in the stomach. Foods that create gas in one person may not create gas in another.

If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember unless it is almost time for the next scheduled dose. In that case, skip the missed dose and take the next one as directed. Do not take double doses. If you are not sure of what to do if you miss a dose, or if you miss more than one dose, contact your health care provider.
