Physician to Offer Tips to Prevent Complications Associated with Diabetes

Managing diabetes to prevent complications can be an ongoing challenge. People living with diabetes can attend the free community program, “Stay Healthy! Avoid Diabetes Complications” led by Angela D. Divjak, MD, of ThedaCare Physicians-Shawano, to learn tips to delay and prevent complications associated with diabetes.

The educational program during the Diabetes Support Group meeting begins at 9 a.m. on Thurs., March 14, in the Pine Room at Shawano Medical Center, 309 N. Bartlett St., Shawano. To register or for this free, one-hour presentation, contact Shawano Medical Center at (715) 526-2111 between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. Each person must register separately.
