  • Bedwetting or enuresis is very common in children, affecting an estimated five to seven million children in the United States. Roughly 13 percent of six-year-old children have some nighttime wetting.
  • Benign prostatic hypertrophy (BPH) is an age-related condition that causes problems with urination. With age and time, the prostate enlarges causing pressure on the urethra, much like a clamp on a garden hose which in turn causes problems with urination.
  • Bladder cancer begins in the cells in the inner lining of the bladder, an organ in the lower abdomen that stores urine.
  • Erectile dysfunction or impotence is the inability to achieve and maintain erections sufficient for intercourse.
  • Interstitial cystitis or painful bladder syndrome is a condition causing discomfort, pressure, tenderness or intense pain in the bladder or pelvic area as well as an urgent and frequent need to urinate.
  • Kidney cancer affects approximately 50,000 individuals each year, with the most common type being renal cell carcinoma.
  • Kidney stones are calcifications that form in the kidneys. These stones can travel down the tubes that drain the kidneys, called ureters. Nearly 10 percent of the U.S. population will develop kidney stones in their lifetime.
  • Male infertility, azoospermia (no sperm) or low sperm count are conditions that lower the chances of a couples ability to become pregnant. These conditions can be caused by hormonal imbalances or alterations in sperm production or delivery.
  • Overactive bladder is a condition in which patients feel the frequent and strong urge to urinate but leak before they are able to get to the bathroom.
  • Prostate cancer is the most common type of cancer in men over the age of 50. It is the fourth most common cancer worldwide.
  • Prostatitis is an inflammation or infection of the prostate. It can affect men at any age and can cause urgency, frequency and pain with urination, as well as discomfort in the groin, prostate area or back.
  • Stress incontinence is a condition that causes involuntary loss of urine while laughing, coughing, sneezing or any other type of physical stress. It results from a weakness in the ligaments and muscles that support the bladder and urethra.
  • Testicular cancer is the most common solid growth-type of cancer among men 15 to 34 years of age. A man's lifetime risk of testicular cancer is roughly 1 in 250.
  • Urethral stricture is the scarring or narrowing of the urethra, the tube that drains urine from the bladder.
