With the exception of the main entrance curtain wall, ThedaCare Medical Center-Shawano is now enclosed and weather-tight. Heat is being temporarily pumped throughout the addition to create comfortable working conditions.

The average daily total for workers on site is holding steady around 130. Most of those workers are now on first floor, where the interior walls are being framed, and the mechanical, plumbing, and electrical contractors are roughing in their ductwork, piping and conduit.

On second floor, the MEP (mechanical, electrical, plumbing) rough-ins are complete and the majority of drywall has been installed. Painting has started in what will be the patient wing of the hospital. In the next two months, other finish work including flooring, ceilings and casework will begin.
