Video visits give patients with a MyThedaCare account the ability to connect with an Advanced Practice Clinician (APCs) in a convenient, interactive way to diagnose and treat non-urgent medical conditions. The sessions are easy to setup and secure for your privacy. The sessions are easy to setup and secure for your privacy. Video visits are provided in 20 minute slots. Appointment is required.

    If you don’t have a MyThedaCare account, simply follow these steps to sign up today:
    • Click on “MyThedaCare” 
    • Click on “Sign Up Now”
    • Follow the prompts 

    Once you MyThedaCare account has been established, you can schedule your video visit appointment within MyThedaCare.

  • Starting Your Video Visit

    Follow these simple 6-steps to successfully launch your video visit.

    1. 15 minutes prior to your scheduled visit find a well-lit and private area to connect from.  Test your setup up if you did not do this immediately after scheduling your appointment.
    2. Log into your MyThedaCare account or your proxy child’s account, whomever is the patient.
    3. Once logged in, find and click on "Appointments" link.
    4. Select the correct video visit date and time from the list of Upcoming Appointments,
    5. Click on "Start Video Visit", and wait for your care team member to join. When you are successfully connected, you will see the message of: “Connected, please wait for your provider”.  They will be notified that you are awaiting and will join at your scheduled appointment time.
    6. During the visit when you are ready to talk to your provider, just click the button and unmute your computer/phone or tablet.
  • Video Visits Device Requirements

    You can access ThedaCare’s video visits from any web-enabled device – smartphone, tablet, laptop, or desktop.  Any of these devices you wish to use will require internet access, web cam, and a microphone in order to conduct your visit.

    ThedaCare does require you to use a modern browser to ensure your data is secure and your experience is exceptional. You can use any of the following browsers for your visit: Internet Explorer 11 or newer, Chrome, or Firefox. The preferred browser is IE 11.

    If you don't have one of these browsers, you can download Chrome or Firefox for free.  Please note that Video visits are not currently compatible with Safari or Mac OS X High Sierra (version 10 13) or later.
