Cholesterol Numbers are Focus of Free Program

Doctor to Explain What Numbers Really Mean at New London Class

Making sense of cholesterol numbers following a health screening can be confusing.  People concerned about their cholesterol levels and what each number means for overall health and well-being can attend the free community presentation, “The Good, the Bad and the Ugly of Cholesterol.”

Carrie Beth Chapman, MD, of Appleton Cardiology, a part of ThedaCare, will explain what HDL, LDL and total cholesterol numbers mean and offer tips on diet and lifestyle changes people can make to bring cholesterol levels back into a healthy range.

The free session begins at 6:30 p.m. on Tues., Oct. 9, in the Pigeon River Room at New London Family Medical Center.

To register for this free presentation, visit or call ThedaCare On Call at (920) 830-6877 or (800) 236-2236 between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.   Each person must register separately.
