Doctor to discuss pap smears, HPV vaccinations, birth control options and more
Mothers who are prepared to have “the talk” with their teenage daughter can attend a free ThedaCare session, “From Mother to Daughter.” Amber Post, MD, of Women’s Care of Wisconsin will speak about new guidelines for pap smears, HPV vaccinations, birth control options and more. The teen years are a hard time for both mother and daughter and being better educated on these topics may help make this transition a little easier.
The free, 60-minute program begins at 6:30 p.m. on Tues., March 11, in the Ironwood Room at Appleton Medical Center.
