Doctor to Discuss Symptoms, Treatment of Silent Killer

Nearly 200,000 people in the United States are diagnosed with Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm (AAA) each year. People can learn more about who is at greatest risk and why by attending the free community presentation, “AAA:  The Silent Killer.”

Robert B. Ballard, MD, of Fox Valley Surgical Associates, S.C., will discuss the disease that’s often referred to as a silent killer because of its tendency to creep up without any obvious symptoms.

This free, 90-minute educational program begins at 6:30 p.m. on Mon., Nov. 5, in the Ironwood Room at Appleton Medical Center.
