Three Providers to Lead First-Ever Presentation in Fond du Lac
A trio of medical providers will come together for a first-ever, free presentation on back pain on Tues., April 24, at the Holiday Inn, 625 West Rolling Meadows Ave. in Fond du Lac.
“Oh, My Achy Back” will be held from 6:30- 7:30 p.m. To register or for more information, people can call toll free (855) 41-SPINE or (855) 417-7463. The free program will highlight common causes of back pains and strains, some remedies for self relief and when it is time to get serious and seek treatment.
The three presenters are orthopedic spine surgeon David DeWitt, MD, and physiatrist Rick A. Staehler, MD, both of NeuroSpine Center of Wisconsin in Appleton, and chiropractor Shayne M. Bauer, DC, of Bauer Chiropractic in Fond du Lac. They will explain the common causes of back pains and strains, self-relief remedies and when it’s time to seek treatment.
The three providers each bring a different perspective when it comes to back pain. Dr. DeWitt specializes in degenerative and traumatic discords of the cervical, thoracic and lumber spine while Dr. Staehler is trained in the nonsurgical management of pain. Dr. Bauer specializes in neck pain, back pain and musculoskeletal problems.
