She’ll Supervise Hospitals, Transitions of Care and Home Divisions
ThedaCare appointed Maryjeanne Schaffmeyer to chief operating officer of its Hospitals, Transitions of Care and Home division.
In her new role, Schaffmeyer will oversee Appleton Medical Center, Theda Clark Medical Center, ThedaCare At Home and the Heritage and Peabody Manor communities. She reports to Kim Barnas, ThedaCare senior vice president.
Schaffmeyer previously served as vice president of operations for Appleton Medical Center. Before that, she served ThedaCare in several managerial roles at Appleton Medical Center.
“Maryjeanne is a relationship-builder with a focus on customer service and has a strong track record of getting results while nurturing those around her,” Barnas said. “She is a proven teacher and coach skilled in building and developing teams.”
Schaffmeyer received her bachelor’s degree in psychology/child development at State University of New York-Oswego and her master’s degree in speech, language and hearing at Lehman College in the Bronx, NY.
