Be prepared for parenthood

Becoming a parent is a wonderful, life-changing time, but there can be a lot to learn before you meet the new addition to your family. At times, it may feel overwhelming to think about what you need to know before you give birth, especially if this is your first time. That’s why ThedaCare offers prenatal classes to help you and your partner prepare for all the stages of parenthood, from labor and delivery to breastfeeding and baby care.

Studies have shown that being educated in the birth process can reduce the amount of stress in labor. When you understand the labor process, it is easier to allow your body to do what it needs to do. Many new parents find that education can really help calm their worries and answer many questions.

Currently, ThedaCare is offering 2 types of classes: an at home/self-paced educational program or a hybrid option that combines the at home/on-line educational program with a virtual one-time session.

Here’s a list of the classes ThedaCare offers. View all the available classes
