Payment Options

If you’ve received a bill from ThedaCare, you have options.  We welcome the opportunity to assist you in finding the option that works for you. 

  1. Pay your balance in full.  We offer the following payment options.
    • Pay online with a Visa, MasterCard, Discover or American Express card at
    • Log into your account to pay online.  If you are new to MyThedaCare, an activation code is available on your billing statement.
    • Call us to make your payment over the phone. Mail payment with your last billing statement.
  2. Contact the friendly Customer Support staff to set up an interest free payment plan.
  3. Apply for the Financial Assistance Program (Caring Hearts).  Qualified applicants may be eligible for discounted services. 

Financial assistance for patients in need

ThedaCare is committed to improving the health of our communities. Did you know that ThedaCare has a financial assistance program called Caring Hearts?  This program is designed to help patients who are unable to pay for medically necessary medical services. The Caring Hearts program will reduce or eliminate the patient bill if eligibility criteria are met.

Application Process

You will complete the Caring Hearts application and provide us with the requested financial documentation so we can determine your eligibility.  Please understand we cannot process your application without the financial documentation.

Obtaining an Application

Call us at 1-800-236-4102 to request an application so we can update your account.  This will avoid collection action if your account is past due. 


Our Customer Support experts will process your application according to the guidelines outlined in our policy (see below).  Provided you supply all of the requested information, you will receive the results in writing within 10 business days.  If you receive a partial discount on services, please contact us and we will work with you to set up a payment plan for the remaining balance.
