The federal government requires each hospital to post on its website a list of its standard charges for each inpatient and outpatient service and item provided by the hospital. The list is available in a machine-readable format.

Average Hospital Charges per DRG

Medicare and some insurance companies use diagnosis-related groups, or DRGs, to assess hospital-related costs based on condition. We also provide a list of average charges billed per DRG at all our hospitals.

The files above do not contain any information about out of pocket cost for treatment. The information listed is formulated from our accounting system using methodologies to extract and populate the required data sets per federal requirements. We recommend the guest estimator tool be utilized to generate an estimate.

COVID Testing & Treatment Update

The government funding to cover out-of-pocket costs for uninsured and underinsured patients is no longer available.  Effective 9/1/22, COVID testing and treatment will be billed to uninsured patients, which is similar for any other service. 

  • Uninsured patients receive an uninsured discount that is intended to be comparable to the discount they would receive if they have insurance. 
  • Charges will be submitted to insurance for insured patients.  The patient will receive a bill in accordance with their insurance benefits (i.e. copay, deductible). 
  • All patients (uninsured and insured) have access to our Caring Hearts Financial Assistance program, if they meet the qualifications.
